About Us
The Future is Sustainable
North Bay Innovations is committed to a healthy earth.
We believe that most people in the UK share our commitment, but lack the options needed to live sustainably. It’s hard for individuals to reduce plastic use when every vegetable we buy is individually wrapped in plastic. It’s hard to reduce our carbon footprint when even the local food we buy is inefficiently stored and transported.
At North Bay Innovations Ltd., we’re creating new ways to do things on land and water, with an eye to healthy people, healthy oceans and a healthy earth. We know that for communities to embrace sustainable methods of doing things, those methods must be convenient, affordable and make sense.
At any given time, the team at North Bay Innovations is developing multiple products or systems. We regularly collaborate with research and funding organizations, commercial entities and local communities to make change happen.
North Bay Innovations helped to develop the Aquahive® lobster hatchery system. Inspired by Richard’s love of sacred geometry, Aquahive® propelled the lobster farming industry into a new era of sustainability. Aquahive® was purchased by Cadman Group Capital in 2017 and remains a leading technology today.
